Okuyama launches its new brands

The new Okuyama brands were launched on January 13 at an event that brought together the company’s management and administrative staff. The event was designed to introduce the company’s new business strategies, as well as to open a new form of communication with its audiences, whether employees, suppliers, customers or the society at large.

Aiming at repositioning the market, Okuyama establishes itself as a strong brand. An evaluation found that many of the employees consider it as a brand of trust and respect for its transparency, honesty, and commitment to quality. This new position further reinforces our principle of being an agribusiness benchmark in the Brazilian cerrado (savanna) region, seeking to improve our products and processes and to bring solutions to our industry.

The attending audience was introduced to the new Okuyama brand, which takes on a strong role in the corporate relationship and, at the same time, delivers commodities, such as cereals and coffee, to the market. In this context, we lost the “group” identity and became known only as “Okuyama,” since the partners are all family members. Another change also took place with the introduction of the new Hortland brand, which will be shown as a product image in the marketing of HFs. It is the brand that came to escape from product commoditization and to create strong ties with the consumer market in the major Brazilian capitals.

The event was also designed to tell the story of the Okuyama family, of the tradition passed on from father to son in cultivating and caring for land, with the presentation of the photos and text memorial.
